The “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2” is the fifth movie of the very successful series. There are so many twists and turns that it will leave even the smallest of fans on the edge of their seats. Even the most familiar readers will gasp with surprise throughout the movie. This is a movie that the director Bill Condon (“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1,” “Dreamgirls”) truly went all out for. “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2” is the final movie of the mega-million dollar series.

The newly changed Bella Swan, (Kristen Stewart) is now a vampire and a mother. With these new changes she must not only learn how to become a loving mother and protect her newborn, rapidly-growing, baby girl Renesmee, (Mackenzie Foy) but she also has to learn self-control in order to protect herself, her family, and the others around her.  Between running through the woods, feeding on animal blood, and fighting the urge for human blood, she becomes one very strong-willed Vampire.

For the most part, the well known love triangle between Bella, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) is over; yet Jacob is still sticking around the Cullen home. You might be asking yourself, “But why, Edward has already gotten the girl?” Well, it is because Jacob is no longer chasing after Bella, but is now after another girl. It turns out that Jacob has imprinted on to Renesmee.  Not only has Jacob imprinted on to Edward and Bella’s daughter, but he has also given her a nickname of the Loch Ness Monster, “Nessie”. This absolutely pushes Bella to point where she loses it and starts to fight with Jacob. The whole family is standing around the fight, but this is not a fight that anyone wants to try to get in between, let alone try and break up.

Bella’s father, Charlie Swan (Billy Burke) is starting to get very concerned about Bella, as any father would be. Dr. Carlisle Cullen (Peter Facinelli) feels as though the kindest thing to do at this stage would be to just tell Charlie that Bella has passed. This way the whole Cullen family could then move on. Of course, with the fear of losing Renesmee, Jacob feels as though he has to take things into his own hands, in order to get Charlie to the Cullen home before Bella is gone forever. But this happens only after Jacob reveals himself to Charlie, literally. Showing Charlie that not only is Jacob a boy that he has known his whole life, but he is also a wolf; this just leaves Charlie extremely confused. The only thing that Jacob does tell Charlie is that Bella has also undergone an “unusual” change. Not questioning the topic any further he rushes to the Cullen home.

Just moments before Charlie’s arrival, with the help of some home lessons from the Cullen family, Bella manages to learn how to blink, breathe, and to move slowly. Bella is able to control her thirst for human blood during her father’s visit and for the most part she acts fairly normal with the help of those home lessons. Even with Bella acting fairly normal, Charlie comments on how Bella does look like his daughter, but at the same time does not; he is no fool though, he knows something is going on but he is just happy to see his daughter. Bella gets Charlie to agree that if there is something he needs to know then she would be the first tell him.

The Volturi receive a tip that Bella and Edward Cullen now have a child which the Volturi believe to be an immortal child (a human child who has been turned by a vampire). Since the Volturi have reason to believe that the Cullen family has done some wrongdoing by having an immortal child they set out to confront the Cullen family, and to kill the immortal child. In fear that the Volturi will not understand that Renesmee is in fact not an immortal child, and that no laws were actually broken, the Cullen family splits up and sets out around the world to seek help from friends and family that will vouch for Renesmee and the Cullens against the Volturi.

The “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2” is a must see for everybody. Even with a semi slow start, the film is filled with not only suspense and anticipation but also laughter, tears, smiles, and it will leave the whole audience on the edge of their seats. The great ending to the Twilight Saga will leave you questioning yourself, “Is this really the end?”

4 out of 5 stars.
